America’s farmers have been and will forever be the backbone of our nation. It is important that society place an emphasis on retaining family owned farms as a goal of this great country. As environmental stewards it is incumbent upon farmers to take care of the land in a way that is both economically viable and ecologically sustainable. One of the key ways that farmers and agriculturalists can accomplish both of these goals is to employ up-to-date and informed energy management practices.
Energy policy is one of world’s most important economic and environmental issues. I hope that this website and energy handbook might be utilized by small and medium sized farmers to increase profits and decrease environmental externalities.
